Council & Mayor
The local council decides on the affairs of Treis-Karden Municipality – from the budget and planning to the Knabenschule, footpaths and club funding. It meets in public.
Mayor
Hans Josef Bleser has been mayor since 2019 and was confirmed in office on 9 June 2024 with 96.2% of the vote. He chairs the local council and represents the municipality externally.
Office hours are usually Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 7–8 pm, at the municipal office, Hauptstraße 27. Contact and address.

The local council
The council has 16 seats. Its members were elected on 9 June 2024 under majority voting – candidates stood individually rather than on party lists, so there are no formal factions.
